Hierve el Agua and the Zapotec People from Oaxaca
Highlights include the spectacular petrified waterfalls, one 30 m high and the other 12 m high, formed by carbonated water that falls from springs located in the upper part of the rocks. On this tour you will have enough time (2 hours) to swim in the pools that have been created, to walk the trails with local guides and admire the spectacular scenery of this beautiful place. Visit a Mezcal factory, where you will learn about the manufacturing process of the Mezcal and you will enjoy some of the different flavors that are offered. At this moment you will enjoy a delicious Oaxacan lunch. Later, we will visit Teotitlán del Valle, an indigenous Zapotec village of weavers who use ancestral techniques to make and paint their rugs, giving shape to their own designs and replicas of great painters such as Toledo, Picasso and Tamayo.

Hierve el Agua and the Zapotec Village
- Immerse yourself starting this tour, in a sacred place of the ancient Zapotec: HIERVE EL AGUA where the spectacular petrified waterfalls formed for thousands of years, one 30 m high and another 12 m, formed by the carbonated water that falls of springs located in the upper part of the rocks.
- We continue with the route where the agave plantations with which the production of a typical drink of the state of Oaxaca "EL MEZCAL" will be flooded with green color. Of the 210 varieties of maguey that exist throughout the world, only in Oaxaca are 120, which makes it a land not only rich, but brimming with subtleties
- And to finish this tour we will visit the "Zapotec native village of carpets" a place full of colors called Teotitlán del Valle, famous thanks to the quality and beauty of its wool textile products: rugs, jackets, bags, sarapes, tapestries, "corridors ", Carpeting, curtains and dresses, made on large wooden looms and decorated with natural dyes.
