Discover the secrets of pre-Hispanic Mexico on a guided visit to the Museum of Anthropology and the Templo Mayor Museum.
Be welcomed by our local guide at the Museum of Anthropology. Follow your guide through the most complete collection of Mesoamerican pre-Hispanic art. Go through the most relevant rooms and obtain the most important data in a tour where you will also be able to see the most famous pieces of the museum such as "La Piedra del Sol", the mask of King Pakal and the Coatlicue.
From here, we will get on the Metrobús to go to our next destination. We will pass through the famous "Alameda" park, the oldest urban park in America. During the walk, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the most emblematic buildings of the city, such as the Palace of Fine Arts, the Postal Palace, the Iturbide Palace and the Casa de los Azulejos. You will be amazed at the pedestrian atmosphere of Francisco I Madero street!
Our next stop is the Templo Mayor, where you can admire the archaeological remains of the ancient Mexica temple. This is the place where much of the history of pre-Hispanic Mexico and colonial Mexico is found. We will also find the emblematic cathedral, a legacy of the colonial era, and you will visit the most important sites of the Templo Mayor accompanied by our expert local guide, as well as a visit to the stained glass windows of history located in the streets surrounding the site.
You cannot miss this archaeological experience in which you will learn about Mexican culture and tradition! This way you will better understand how the different ethnic groups coexist today not only in Mexico City, but throughout the country.
