Puebla City Tour

- The meeting point for this tour is the San Miguel fountain located in the main square of the city of Puebla.
- If you are staying at a hotel near the zocalo, you can agree to pick up the client at the hotel.

Itinerary

Start of the tour
Start time: 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. Choose the time that suits you best!
- The meeting point will be at the San Miguel fountain which is in the middle of the zócalo. The host will be waiting for you.
- The experience will begin with the first point to visit, which will be the Palafoxiana Library. The first public library in Latin America.
- Known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
- Visit to the Zócalo and explanation of the model of Puebla.
- We walk through the traditional street 5 de Mayo until we reach the Chapel of the Rosary considered the "Eighth Wonder of the new world".
- Walk through the Calle de los Dulces and a tasting of typical sweets and liqueurs.
- It is an artistic space located in what is known as Plazuela del Torno or del Factor, the artists work and exhibit their work in view of the tourists and citizens who visit this corridor.
- We will visit the handicraft market where you can find more sweets, talavera, souvenirs from Puebla and other beautiful handicrafts.
- It is said that in colonial times the waters of the San Francisco River frequently overflowed, flooding the alley of 6 Sur. The people made use of the rising river and installed some mills there. However, the stagnant water and the activities that were carried out in it attracted a large number of toads, a fact that gave rise to the current name of the road.
